Skype 2.8 for Android released with improved performance and user interface

Skype has released a new update for the users of Google Android platform.

The latest version is 2.8 and it comes with performance improvements and enhancements to user interface.

Skype highlighted the improvements in this update:

Improved start-up time
In-app notifications of Skype app updates
Instant Messaging user interface improved
Widened the support of video rotation to many more devices
Updated the list of devices which are video capable
