Skype for Windows Phone might be out in a matter of weeks
Online sources are indicating that Microsoft has started internal testing of Skype for Windows Phone.
The app is now available to Microsoft employees and it could see a public launch in the coming weeks.
Microsoft could showcase the app at the upcoming Mobile World Congress. It is likely to be a standalone app for a while.
We might see it get integrated into the Windows Phone platform itself in the next iteration.
Windows Phone 8 is likely to launch before the end of the year and could feature integrated Skype support for fully functional VoIP capabilities.
