Online sources are reporting that Samsung would offer a software app to the buyers of their Windows 8 based computers to add a Start button to their desktops.
Microsoft took an unusual decision by killing the Start button in Windows 8. Instead, users are sent to a full screen UI with tiled apps.
Samsung’s app might not make it to first generation Windows 8 machines. The company is likely to offer it as an optional update.
Demand for Start button is so high that you can be sure that there would be plenty of third party solutions to offer something similar on Windows 8.
