Sony PlayStation 3 getting a slimmer model this month
Sony might not be ready to announce their next generation PlayStation gaming console but we are expected to see a slimmer and smaller version of the PS3 later this year.
The company is going to start selling this model in the US and Japan market from later this month.
Sony PlayStation 3 is already struggling against the market leader Microsoft Xbox 360. Nintendo would start selling their new Wii U gaming console in the coming weeks.
The new model is around as slim as a regular laptop model and it would feature larger hard drive options (250GB and 500GB). The cheaper model would sell for USD 269 while the higher end model would retail for USD 299.
