Sony and Apple have collaborated to sell music from Sony Music Japanese catalog through iTunes.

This is for the first time this music is available through iTunes in the last eight years. Sony has until now resisted offering their music through Apple’s rival store in their home market.

This catalog contain popular music from local artists like Ikimonogakari, Toshinobu Kubota and Kana Nishino.

This music is now available in DRM free format through Apple iTunes in japan.
