Sony released an update last month for their recent Xperia branded Android based smartphones.

This update added WebGL support on the compatible devices. Users can now run compatible web apps on their smartphones now!

With this Sony Xperia smartphones have become the few devices in the market that support WebGL technology.

WebGL is already supported on multiple desktop browsers like Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. It is good to see mobile support now!
