Spotify has finally started rolling out their web app to limited number of users in private beta.

The web app has all the features of their desktop app and is going to help a lot of users as no software installation is required.

The company eventually plans to make it available to all of their subscribers.

Spotify has already indicated that the web app would complement their desktop apps. There are no plans to discontinue the desktop apps.
