Apple iPhone 5 was announced last week and with its arrival later this month, Apple iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 are getting a price cut.
Apple announced that iPhone 4S would be sold for USD 100 with a contract. iPhone 4 would be available for free with a contract.
Looks like Sprint is not interested in offering the free edition of iPhone considering the investments they have made to get the iPhone on their network.
Apple had mentioned that only a few carriers in the US market would offer iPhone 4 once iPhone 5 goes on sale.
There are reports online that Sprint could offer the unlocked edition of iPhone 4 without a contract through their Virgin branded prepaid service.
