Starbucks has announced that they would open their first outlet in India next month.
The first Indian Starbucks would open in Mumbai’s Horniman Circle neighborhood.
They would be sourcing the coffee beans for their range from India itself. The company has partnered with Tata Coffee for the same.
These stores are being launched through a joint venture with Tata. The company is named Tata Starbucks Ltd.
Avani Saglani Davda has been named at the CEO of the company. He was previously with Tata Group.
The company aims to have 50 outlets operational throughout India by the end of next year.
