Adobe Flash Player to stop supporting PowerPC G3 processors
Adobe has revealed that they are going to stop supporting PowerPC G3 processors with their Flash Player in the future.
The company said that Adobe Flash Player 10.1 would be the last version from them to support this aging platform.
The next edition would be released in the first half of 2010.
This is not going to affect a lot of people however. Apple stopped manufacturing PowerPC-based G3 in 1999.
Adobe said that they had to take this step because this platform can no longer support the performance enhancements in the newer versions.
