WordPress.com now support Twitter API

WordPress.com now support Twitter API
Automattic has announced that they are now adding support for Twitter API to their hosted blogging service WordPress.com.
This feature now enables posting and reading of data through Twitter API.
This would work with any Twitter application that supports custom API URL functionality.
Tweetie 2 is one of the several apps that now support this feature.
