Plurk might file a lawsuit against Microsoft for MSN Juku fiasco
Plurk has stated that they are looking at several options including a lawsuit against Microsoft regarding the plagiarism of MSN Juku service.
The company said in a statement: “We are definitely looking at all possibilities on how to move forward in response to Microsoft’s recent statement.”
Plurk co-founder Alvin Woon added that a lawsuit is one of the several options they are looking at.
Microsoft has admitted that an outside contractor did copy parts of the Plurk code base to develop the Juku service for them.
Incidentally, the software giant had earlier claimed that Juku was a ‘local innovation developed by MSN China … based on Windows Live Messenger networks’.
