Rackspace promotes reMail on iPhone to their customers
Rackspace is now integrated into the popular email app on the Apple iPhone.
Rackspace is also now advising the users of their email service to use reMail to access their accounts on their iPhones.
They are offering a discount to the users who accept this service. Rackspace servers can be added at a discounted price of 99 cents. Non-Gmail accounts usually cost USD 4.99.
reMail enable iPhone users to download all their emails over IMAP. The entire content of the mail is indexed and is searchable at lightening fast speeds. We have used it on our iPod Touch with a Gmail account and we love it for what it does.
reMail spoke about this collaboration on their blog:
We’ve partnered up with Rackspace to bring their 1.5 million email hosting customers a more integrated, cheaper version of reMail: You can connect any number of Rackspace email accounts to your reMail for $0.99, instead of the $4.99 we charge for any IMAP account.
