Samsung has released a video showcasing the concepts of developing applications for their Bada platform.
They are aiming to make it easier for developers to make use of existing components and easily connect to features on the mobile device.

It is still hard to imagine that they decided to launch their own mobile platform instead of just picking up Android and doing something based on it.
