Google can use Lala for their music service
Industry sources had hinted that both Google and Apple were in talks to acquire Lala.
Apple prevailed in the end and they now own it.
The latest news is that Apple has allowed Lala to continue working with Google for their online music service.
Google representative R.J. Pittman spoke about the new developments: “We have enjoyed a good relationship with Apple for many years, and that continues to be the case. We are agreeing to continue to leave the service as it is.”
Apple has still not revealed what they have planned with their acquired property Lala. They are said to be working on an online edition of iTunes.
