Chrome Apps Launcher is now part of Google Chrome Canary
Google Chrome Canary has already been updated with the brand new optional feature that adds the Chrome Apps Launcher to the taskbar on Windows OS.

Apple updated their MacBook Pro lineup with two new models loaded with high resolution retina display.
This meant that apps would have to update their UI with higher quality components otherwise they would look blurry.
