Google has just announced that they have added a bunch of indoor maps from popular destinations in France.
These maps can be accessed from Google Maps mobile app on Android devices. Google said:

Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt has been quoted as saying that they have not yet submitted a mobile app for Google Maps for the Apple iOS 6 devices including the new iPhone 5.
He did say that they are in constant talks with Apple. Though
Apple iOS 6 was launched yesterday and one of the biggest complaints users have is the replacement of Google Maps with Apple Maps.
Apple Maps are very rough especially for users outside USA. Even the maps of USA are very crude in nature today.
Google has expanded their live traffic coverage in three new markets.
Google Maps would now show live traffic in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; Kuwait City, Kuwait and Guayaquil, Ecuador.
The company added:
We’ve also improved the live traffic
Google has updated their maps application for the Android devices.
Google Maps now provide easy access to all the location based searches made on desktop computers.
This only works on searches when you are logged in with the same Google Account
Amazon has announced their own API for mapping services.
Amazon Maps API is now part of the Amazon Mobile App SDK.
The company said that it has been designed for developers who are already using Google Maps API.

Google has expanded the availability of their Google Maps Navigation technology on Android devices in nine more countries. These newly supported regions are:
