HTC has finally started rolling out Google Android ICS update for their older devices.
The first model to get the ICS update is the HTC Sensation along with Sensation XE.
The update is being rolled out in some markets including the Nordics.
HTC has confirmed the release and said that the release would be made available widely in the coming weeks.
The update comes with HTC Sense 3.6 edition.
HTC has announced that they would launch a new variant of their Sensation smartphone next month.
This new variant would be white colored and the best part is that it would come loaded with Google Android Ice Cream Sandwich edition.
Of course, HTC would bundle an updated edition of their Sense platform on this phone as well so you are not going to get the stock Android experience.
HTC also said that the Ice Cream Sandwich update for the existing variants would be released in the near future.
HTC and Sprint are now delivering the Android 3.2 update for the HTC Evo View 4G Tablet PC.
This is one of the few cases where a Tablet that shipped with Android 2.x edition is getting the Android 3.x update.

The update renders the capacitive buttons on the device useless as it depends upon the onscreen buttons.
It comes with a customized edition of Android mobile platform deeply integrated with HTC Sense platform.
