Imagine TV set to shut down in India
Turner Broadcasting System has announced that they have decided to shut down Indian television channel Imagine TV.
The company said that the poor rating of the shows on this channel means that there is no point in continuing with it.
They had acquired a majority stake in this channel from NDTV back in 2009 for around USD 117 million.
Looks like it was not a good investment for the US based entertainment giant.
The company operates a bunch of other channels which are relatively very popular: HBO, CNN, Cartoon Network, POGO, and WB.
