Google and Reuters have collaborated to launch a new video channel on YouTube.
This new section is named Reuters TV.

Google has now responded to allegations made by News Corp boss Rupert Murdoch through his Twitter account.
Murdoch claimed that Google was a piracy leader as it linked to tons of copyrighted material on the web.
He further said that Google
Google has collaborated with O-Zone Networks to offer free access to Google Plus network in the Indian market.
This offer is available for a period of three months. Users would also get 10 minutes of access to YouTube for free every week.

Google has discontinued the Cosmic Panda experiment on their YouTube platform.
Cosmic Panda was launched a couple of months ago and it featured major design change. A lot of people liked what Google did with this experimental user interface.
However,
Beta users using Microsoft Xbox Live can now download and install the YouTube app for their devices.
This app is scheduled to launch publicly later this month.

Google has announced a new educational platform powered by their YouTube video sharing service.
YouTube for Schools has been developed in collaboration with more than 600 partners including Smithsonian, TED, Steve Spangler Science, and Numberphile.

Google probably acquired a bunch of domain names with .xxx extension to save themselves the headache of going after them at a later stage.
The most important of these is probably YouTube.xxx which is now owned by them.

The new layout is less drastic and is focused on enhancing the user’s homepage and channel pages.
