Tata Motors has announced that they are now entering the Indonesia market.
They are establishing a wholly-owned Jakarta-based subsidiary.
The company aims to start exporting their vehicles to this new market next year for sale.
Tata said in a statement:
Indonesia is a key market for Tata Motors, which has a wide range of products from small cars to buses in passenger vehicles and from 0.5T mini-trucks to 49T heavy trucks in commercial vehicles
The company said that they are also considering setting up a local manufacturing unit to cater to demand in the regional markets.
