Tata reportedly working on an 800cc variant of Nano!

Economic Times has reported that Tata Motors is developing a new variant of their Nano model that would feature a more powerful and sporty 800cc engine.

The current Nano comes loaded with a 624cc engine which is barely enough to carry five people in the small car.

A more powerful engine would make Nano a more relevant purchase though the increased price would bring it much closer to Maruti Alto and Hyundai Eon.

Tata would have to improve upon the interiors of the car if they are going to compete in this segment of the market.

Tata has officially declined that they are working on any such option.
