TweetDeck discards Adobe Air to go HTML5 on Windows and Mac?

Twitter’s latest avatar has an unlikely victim. The company has discontinued the Adobe Air editions of TweetDeck.

It has been replaced with new apps for Windows and Mac which seems to be a desktop wrapper around the web edition.

Google Chrome’s TweetDeck app has also been updated with a similar look and feel.

The biggest problem with this update? It now only supports Twitter and Facebook. All other social networks have been discarded.

TweetDeck for mobile devices have not been updated yet.
