Twitter for Blackberry updated with link previews

Twitter has rolled out an updated version of their mobile app for Blackberry devices.

The latest update adds support for link previews when user expands a tweet with a link.

This feature works with domains approved by the company. Twitter said:

This new release makes Twitter on BlackBerry even better: Now when you expand a Tweet to see the details view, you can enjoy article summaries from websites like CNN or beautiful photos from sites like National Geographic. And you’ll see contacts from your Device Address Book who are on Twitter, making it easier to find your friends.

The next update would improve support for photo previews on the timeline.
