Twitter has offered embedding for individual tweets and timelines for a longtime now.
They have just announced the release of an updated mechanism for embedding timelines.
The company said:
With our new embedded timelines you can place any public timeline on your website, connecting your readers with the Tweets that you and others create on Twitter.
This can be used to embed a timeline connected to a Twitter account, a hashtag, favorites, lists, and even search queries. Create a new widget for you blog!
