Twitter for Mobile Web gets a major update

Twitter has updated their mobile web app to provide an experience that is close to their mobile apps.

The company said that the new mobile web app interface is smoother in nature and consumes less bandwidth as well.

Twitter added:

In this updated version of mobile.twitter.com, you can see all the Tweets from the accounts you follow in the Home tab and check your @mentions in the Connect tab. You can see what’s trending in the Discover tab, and access your direct messages and Tweets in the Me tab.
