Twitter now considering offering its own video hosting service!

Twitter continues to tighten control over their ecosystem which is causing a lot of problems for third party services which rely on them.

The company already uses their own link shortening service and works with Photobucket to offer image hosting facility.

Online sources are now reporting that the company might soon launch their own video sharing feature as well.

Sharing videos online is becoming more and more popular with the availability of smartphones with better cameras and faster internet connectivity.

These users currently have to rely upon third party apps for sharing videos on Twitter.

Offering video services would also provide Twitter another potential mode of revenue generation.
