Ubisoft working on Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth game

Ubisoft has collaborated with Marvel Entertainment for a game based on The Avengers.

The movie has already been a major success for the company and now they hope to accomplish the same with a videogame based on the franchise.

The game is likely to focus on motion-control and would be launched for Kinect and Wii U consoles. Nintendo is yet to launch Wii U of course.

The company said:

The idea that we’re making a motion-control version of ‘The Avengers’ is a unique proposition if you compare that to superhero games of the past. This is the perfect type of game for that because these characters are very action oriented. They’re always fighting and throwing things.

The game itself would have little connection with the movie as it is likely to include more characters from the Marvel Universe.
