UnoDNS lets you access international content by changing just your DNS Server!

I just discovered UnoDNS powered UnoTelly platform. The service promises access to region specific services like Hulu and Netflix without subscribing to a VPN platform.

The company offers a free trial which you can use to check out their offering. There are no limitations. I created an account with within 5 minutes was able to access Hulu on my computer here in India.

The only thing you need to change on your machine is the DNS servers. The website detects it and lets you configure advance options right from inside the browser.

The service offer access to hundreds of international services. Users can access services based in different countries from different computers using the same account at their home. It is pretty amazing really.

And since the traffic is not being routed through a VPN channel, there are no slowdowns or network congestion as well.

Check it out here. It costs USD 4 for just the DNS service. You can also get a complementary VPN service for USD 5.

Ty for your recommendation on UnoDNS. I am currently using VPN for Spotify and BBC but It’s terribly slow. I will try Unotelly and if it’s faster I will switch.

It seems to be much faster than using a VPN at my end. Do try out their free trial.

Yes I’m testing it via the free trial. Seems that there is no speed loss when I’m using the DNS from UnoDNS compared to my ISP DNS.

I’ve heard about Tunlr one month ago. It’s free and good for BBC but it’s con is that Tunlr don’t support Netflix and you can use it for only 3 hours per day :(

I tested it today on my PC and Xbox 360. In the matter of speed, it’s definitely faster than the VPN I used. Actually, I didn’t notice any speed loss on the speedtest. I’ve tried Netflix US and iPlayer and it worked without buffering which is good for my 2mbps connection. I am considering to subscribe after my trial is over. I think it worths the money.
