Verizon Wireless has now become an official retailer of Microsoft Office 365 suite in the US market.

The company is likely to focus on small businesses with this product platform. Verizon said:

Really it’s the small business, it’s the real estate brokerage firm … even that pizza shop that’s been on the corner for the last 30 years. … It’s those small businesses that are really fueling our economy, those small businesses that are really important to Verizon.

Microsoft Office 365 has become a very important platform for the company as they face intense competition from free alternatives. Online productivity suites like Google Docs have also been taking away customers from Microsoft.
