WhatsApp updates their mobile app for the Windows Phone platform
WhatsApp has released an updated version of their mobile app for the Windows Phone platform.
The updated version adds a couple of missing features from their previous releases.

Performance improvements, including:
- Able to delete large conversations
- Faster insertion and removal of messages to and from local storage
- Faster creation of favorites
WhatsApp remains one of the most popular third party group messaging apps in the world today. Competitors include Kik and ChatOn.
