Windows Phone Marketplace now has more than 50,000 apps!

Windows Phone’s mobile app store is now home to more than 50,000 apps. This number is pretty small when compared to Apple App Store and Google Android Market but it is getting better all the time.

With Nokia now selling Windows Phone devices, more developers are now likely to be interested in offering their apps for this relatively new platform.

It took the Windows Phone Marketplace around a year to reach 40,000 milestone. And they have added 10,000 apps in around 40 days.
