WordPress developers have released a major update of their mobile app for the Apple iOS devices.

The app has been totally overhauled for both iPhone and iPad units. The user interface has been revamped. Users get instant access to all their connected blogs along with blogs they follow, topics they like.

The app also now feature support for enhanced stats if you are using the supported plugin on our blogs. Apple iPad edition gets access to the Quick Photo feature that is already very popular on the iPhone.

The app also now feature a friend finder. You can connect to Twitter and Facebook to find your friends. There is also an option to find your friends from your address book.

Other enhancements:

* New Post Preview for iPad: When viewing a post on the iPad, you’ll now get a nice preview of the post including formatting and images.
* All-Around Landscape Support: Nearly all areas of the app support landscape orientation now, including all of the tabs in the post editor. (You’ll notice this on the iPhone and the iPod Touch.)
* Easy Site and Dashboard Access: A no-brainer. We added buttons in the Sidebar to view your site as well as a Dashboard link so you can access your full WordPress dashboard (“/wp-admin”) right from within the app. Thanks to this you can now easily update your theme, manage your users, access your tools, and more.
