Automattic has announced that they are boosting the paid storage space offered to the bloggers using their WordPress.com platform.

The company pretty much doubled the storage offered in various packages while retaining the prices of the packages.

5GB → 10GB
15GB → 25GB
25GB → 50GB
50GB → 100GB
100GB → 200GB

WordPress.com said:

If you already subscribed to one or more of these upgrades (yes, they are cumulative), your total available space has been automatically updated as you can see in your Media Library. If you don’t have a Space Upgrade yet, or need to add more, the new levels have been implemented in the Store section of your dashboard.

There is another update… Users operating private blogs can now add unlimited number of subscribers. Earlier this was limited to 35 members only.
