Google Chrome users who blog on the WordPress.com platform have a new browser extension they should definitely check out.

WordPress.com developers have launched their official browser extension for Chrome. Here are the features offered through this app:

It would show you notifications related to new followers, new likes on your blog posts.
You can click on the icon to get the latest updates. This is similar to how Google Plus notifications work.
You can now follow any blog or website offering a RSS feed directly from the extension button.
You can blog about any webpage you are checking out from the extension.
