An age calculator works out exactly how old you are from your date of birth — in years, months and days — up to today or any date you choose. It counts leap years and different month lengths correctly, and also shows your age in total months, weeks, days and hours, plus how long until your next birthday.
How age is counted
Age is the time from your birth date to the target date, expressed as whole years, then the leftover months, then the leftover days. February and leap years are handled exactly, so 29 February birthdays and month boundaries come out right.
