A date difference calculator counts how much time is between two dates — the total days, weeks and months, plus a years-months-days breakdown. Turn on “include end date” to count both endpoints, or “working days only” to skip weekends.

What it counts

The plain difference is the number of whole days between the two dates. Working-days mode counts only Monday to Friday between them (it does not know public holidays). The breakdown expresses the same gap as years, months and days.

When you need it

Counting down to a deadline or event, working out a notice period or contract length, tracking how long since something happened, or checking an age or anniversary in exact days.
